a solid twenty-miler

Fluffed up against the coldI out ran the temperature -- It was 18 degrees and I ran 20.2 miles.

The sunrise was absolutely magnificent.

I ran too fast because of the cold and finished the run pretty dead-legged. I felt great through about 16 miles, but then I went up one of the big hills on my route and my breathing got messed up and my legs felt like spaghetti. C'est la vie. I recovered and still finished the run at a good clip.

First five: 8:58 / 8:56 / 8:52 / 8:53 / 8:46
Second five: 8:41 / 8:38 / 8:36 / 8:28 / 8:27
Third Five: 8:41 / 8:23 / 8:48 / 8:27 / 8:25
Fourth Five: 8:46 / 9:08 / 8:35 / 8:26 / 8:36

Interestingly the fastest mile was mile 15. Slowest mile was mile 17. 8:40 average.
