time line – diagnosis to treatment

Since people have asked for one ...

January 2005 - noticed first symptom - a dry cough.
February 2006 - noticed the left side of my abdomen felt firmer than the right. this was my only palpable mass up until towards the very end.
Friday January 12, 2007 - went to doctor because I had intermittent excruciating pain in my right arm. Showed him my left side and he ordered a CT scan.
Friday January 19, 2007 - had CT scan of abdomen. 14 cm mass invading liver and spleen. On the 22d, GP called and said see local surgeon to have it removed.
Thursday January 25, 2007 - saw a local surgeon who sent me to a 2d surgeon across the hall, who told me to call the Main Campus of the Cleveland Clinic.
Friday January 26, 2007 - Second CT scan of chest and brain, showing 18-20 cm chest mass and SVCS. Ah ha now we know why my face is swelling up and my arm hurts ...
Thursday February 1, 2007 - Saw surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus who said he thought it was a FHC. First doctor to order blood work and ordered a core needle biopsy.
Tuesday February 6, 2007 - Core needle biopsy.
Wednesday February 14, 2007 - Diagnosis of Hodgkin's Disease.
Friday February 16, 2007 - First appointment with oncologist late in afternoon.
Monday February 19, 2007 - PET scan.
Wednesday February 21, 2007 - MUGA Scan.
Thursday February 22, 2007 - PFT, port installed, admitted to hospital.
Friday February 23, 2007 - bone marrow biopsy, started ABVD.
